The USA Pro Cycling Challenge is a seven day professional cycling race consisting of 16 of the world’s top teams and is one of the largest spectator sporting events to take place in the Colorado.
The City of Steamboat Springs is proud to host two stages – the overall race start from the Steamboat Ski Resort Base Area Promenade on ,and the Finish in downtown Steamboat Springs August 17th, and the Stage 2 Start on August 18th,We are anticipating thousands of people in town for the Finish of Stage 1. The addition of visitors to the city will impact residents, businesses within the Steamboat community, as well as driving and bus routes.

Parking around downtown will be limited. Public parking is designated at Howelsen Hill and the Ice Arena (accessed from River Road only). Public parking will also be available at the Steamboat Springs High School after 1pm.
Public parking will be available at the Meadows Parking lot. It is highly advisable to take alternative transportation including the City Buses, biking and walking. Steamboat Stage Sponsors and Supporters will have access to VIP parking at the Rodeo Grounds. View our maps below for more detail.
There will be two bike corrals for the Stage 1 Finish Stage in downtown Steamboat. One will be located at 3rd and Lincoln, and another will be at the Steamboat Springs High School. There will be a bike corral at the Meadows parking lot for the Stage 2 Start. View our maps below for more detail.
Stage 1 Finish, Monday August 17th, 2015 For much of the event, the FREE Steamboat Springs City Transit Buses will be operating the normal Summer Schedule.

Check-out the Route Maps to determine the best vantage point for you between Steamboat. Lincoln Avenue in Downtown Steamboat will closed to traffic, and wide open for spectators! There will be two megatron screens streaming the race live so you can watch the challenge as riders race from Breckenridge and over Rabbit Ears Pass. The US Pro Cycling Lifestyle Expo will line main street. There will also be a beer garden with brews and live music. Check-out the map below and the events schedule.
